Before rebooting, I looked at the User Shell Folders key and there were two entries that were still pointing to an old server prior to a SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 migration. Since it changed the registry, I decided to reboot and try it again. I tried to uninstall SEP and got the same error, but there was nothing in the msi log file. I went to the link suggested by vadimrapp1 and used the FIX button, not the manual method, to enable logging. Cleanwipe resulted in the same error twice during uninstallation and didn't uninstall SEP.
